Conditions of participation

The competition with travador is organized by SAVOUR GbR, Marie-Curie-Str. 35, Rodgau (SAVOUR).

By participating, you accept the following terms and conditions, including the privacy policy of this competition.

1. Period and procedure

You can take part in the competition from July 16, 2023 to July 23, 2023, 11:59 p.m.

The following steps are required to participate ("Registration"):

  • Accept these terms and conditions including the privacy policy.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you provide during registration. SAVOUR accepts no responsibility or liability resulting from the inaccuracy or incompleteness of this data, which may result in you not receiving the prize.

Participation is free.

2. Conditions of participation

All persons of full legal capacity who are 18 years or older at the time of registration and who are resident in Germany are eligible to participate. SAVOUR reserves the right to request proof of this.

Each participating person may only register once to take part in the competition in their own name. Each participating person is only eligible to win once.

Competition associations and automated competition services are excluded from participation. Commercial participation or participation mediated by third parties is also not permitted.

Employees of SAVOUR are excluded from participation.

No prizes will be distributed to persons who are excluded in this way but who still participate.

SAVOUR reserves the right to exclude from participation any person who is suspected of using unauthorized means when taking part in the competition or of otherwise attempting to gain an advantage for themselves or third parties through manipulation. This also includes providing false personal data. In these cases, prizes can also be revoked and reclaimed retroactively.

3. Profits

After the competition has ended, the following main prize will be randomly drawn from all persons who effectively participate in the competition:

10x tea creations (provided by: SAVOUR)

Services and costs not included in the prize description above which may arise in connection with the claiming of the prize (such as, in particular, but not exclusively, costs for insurance fees, private expenses) must be borne by the winner.

The claim to the prize is neither transferable (for a fee or free of charge), nor can the prize be paid out in cash or exchanged. All costs associated with or required for claiming the prize (in particular any taxes, fees or duties) must be borne by the winner, unless their borne by SAVOUR is expressly stated in these terms and conditions.

4. Prize announcement and dispatch

The winner will be announced by email on July 25, 2023. If no response is received within three days, a new winner will be drawn.

After the draw, the prizes will be sent at SAVOUR's expense to the postal address requested by email after the prize announcement. Shipping will only take place within Germany.

If the data provided is incorrect (e.g. invalid postal address), SAVOUR is not obliged to find out the correct addresses or other data. Any disadvantages resulting from providing incorrect data are at the expense of the participating person. If contact or transfer is impossible, SAVOUR expressly reserves the right to declare the prize forfeited for the person concerned and to award this prize to another participating person, who will also be chosen at random.

5. 1. Data collection through participation in the competition

The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR, provided that you have consented to the processing of the data or the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR).

If you participate in the competition by registering in accordance with the terms and conditions, the following data will be collected, stored, processed and used (collectively "participant data"):

  • First and last name, postal address (street, house number, zip code, place of residence), email address; if participating via the Internet, also the IP address and the time of registration.

5.2. Use of participant data in the competition

All participant data is stored electronically. The collection, storage and processing of participant data is carried out by SAVOUR. Participant data is not passed on to third parties.

Your participant data will be treated confidentially, used exclusively for the proper conduct of the competition and deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve this purpose, unless you have given your consent to advertising (see section 5.3 below). Insofar as the participant data is subject to retention obligations under tax and commercial law, it will be stored for the duration of the retention obligations of ten years, regardless of the above regulation, and then deleted, unless you have consented to longer storage or further processing of the data is necessary for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims. The legal basis for the processing of personal data for the purposes of fulfilling the statutory archiving and retention obligations is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. c GDPR.

5.3. Consent for advertising purposes

You can consent to receive marketing messages from SAVOUR by email by checking the appropriate box.

This consent is voluntary and not a requirement for participation in the campaign. SAVOUR's marketing messages are sent at irregular intervals and provide information about SAVOUR's campaigns and new products. Your data will not be passed on to third parties in this context either.

If you consent to receive marketing messages, the participant data will not be deleted after the competition has been properly completed.

5.4. Right to information

Among other things, you have the right to information about how SAVOUR uses your participant data. Upon request, you will be provided with complete and free information about the stored data as far as it concerns you. 5.5. Right of withdrawal

You can revoke your consent to the use and storage of your participant data at any time without giving reasons. This applies in particular with regard to the consent to receive marketing messages; the consent can only be revoked in this respect.

In the event of a revocation, the participant data will be deleted immediately. The revocation and the deletion of your participant data will be confirmed to you by email upon request.

If the withdrawal occurs before the competition has been fully carried out, further participation in the competition and, if applicable, the sending of a prize are excluded. This does not apply if the withdrawal only occurs with regard to the consent to receive marketing messages.

5.6. Other rights in relation to personal data

In addition to the rights to information and revocation set out above, participants have the right to request the correction, transfer, restriction of processing, blocking or deletion of personal data (Art 16, 17, 18, 20 GDPR). All you need to do is send an informal email to

6. Applicable law, exclusion of legal recourse
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply exclusively, excluding the provisions of international private law and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, unless mandatory statutory provisions conflict with this.

Legal recourse is excluded. SAVOUR's decisions in connection with the competition are final and cannot be appealed.

8. Exclusion of legal recourse / liability
Legal recourse is excluded. The decisions of SAVOUR in connection with the competition are final and cannot be contested. Claims for damages against SAVOUR, its employees and vicarious agents and/or affiliated companies in connection with the competition are excluded. Furthermore, SAVOUR, its employees and vicarious agents and/or affiliated companies are not liable for damages resulting from the impairment of the availability of the competition website in the event of technical faults and events of force majeure that cannot be influenced, as well as faults caused by third parties. However, SAVOUR will do everything reasonable to ensure the reliability and functionality of the competition website. Furthermore, SAVOUR is not liable for the competition website functioning properly on the respective participant's computer. SAVOUR also accepts no liability for data loss, in particular during data transmission, or other technical defects.
Liability in cases of intent and gross negligence, as well as liability under the Product Liability Act, remains unaffected by the above limitations of liability. The same applies to liability for damages resulting from injury to life, body or health and insofar as SAVOUR has fraudulently concealed a defect or has provided a guarantee of quality.

SAVOUR reserves the right to change, suspend or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice if this is necessary or if the implementation and/or completion of the competition cannot be guaranteed for legal and/or factual reasons. If such a change or termination is caused by the conduct of a participant, Bahlsen is entitled to demand compensation for the damage caused from this person.

Should individual provisions of these Conditions of Participation be and/or become invalid in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
